Since our childhood we have been given so much from the outdoors. Hunting and Fishing has given us direction, purpose, as well as solace through out our lives. Some years ago we realized that it was time to give something back. While introducing youth and other non hunters to our sport individually is excellent, we soon realized that by combining our individual resources through videography, then producing local and national televised shows, we can introduce hundreds and even thousands of people both young and old to our beloved sport. This also allows us to share valuable tips and insight on methods, strategies, and products with our viewers, thus recruiting more people to our sport.
Our Mission…
The staff of “Just Killn’ Time” is dedicated to producing a weekly outdoors program that is honest in it portrayal of hunting and fishing. We travel the country in search of high quality experiences to share with our viewers as well as spend time and effort pursing game on both public and private lands in our home state of Virginia. Each production showcases the game pursued as the star of the show, while following the sportsman throughout the trials and tribulations of their adventure. By doing this we believe our viewers come to understand the very nature of the sportsman and that above all, participation in the outdoor sports promotes integrity, character, and responsibility. All of which are traits conducive to a strong and thriving society.
Why The Name…
A play on words: After careful thought and pondering numerous names we chose our name simply because the outdoors is the only place we can truly leave behind the daily stress of life. We take our hunting and fishing VERY seriously but when in the field the only clock we follow is the sun as it tracks across the sky. Also we have the deepest respect for each animal that gives its life’s blood for us. Because of that respect we will not be politically influenced to say we harvest game. That would be dishonorable to the animal and a lie to ourselves.
